Self Portrait

This photo was taken in my bedroom. My bedroom is the place where I spend most of my time at home, I grew up eighteen years here, from birth through adolescence to adulthood. It always provided me a place to feel safe and comfortable, my worries always wash away once I enter the room that I've done so much growing and developing in. It's probably my favorite place on earth. This was the first self portrait I took, so I wanted it to include me, along with my best bud, Pepe, who I absolutely adore to no end. The photo isn't the greatest, but it took many attempts to make my cat look at the camera, so I took what I can get.

This photo was taken at my art class. I've been attending this art class for almost a year now and it always lets me be creative and gives me an opportunity to escape real life and put my time and focus on something that I really love, and I'm very thankful for it. I really like the final image, I like how the focus was brought on my hand instead of the background, and the way the sun hits it. I'd say I achieved what I wanted in this photo.
This photo was taken at school. I dropped something on the floor while walking and looked up to see my reflection in the blue window, and thought it was cool looking. Although I'm not very visible in the window's reflection, I still think the photo is intriguing. I liked how my shadow showed up in the sunlight as well. I wasn't too interested in taking a picture at school but I think I got a somewhat interest shot. School is a place that, although I may not always be excited to be in it, has granted me lots of opportunities in learning, not only in general knowledge and education, but learning about myself as well. It's something that I don't like to take for granted, because I'm fortunate enough to have it.
